COMPANY BACKGROUND

Vanguard Composite Engineering Private Limited of Singapore is a leading Manufacturer of Lifeboats, Fast Rescue Boats, Boats Launching Equipment (Davits) and Hooks Release System. Based in Singapore, we operate a wholly-owned 16,000 square meter manufacturing facility in Nantong, China that manufactures a wide range of lifeboats, rescue boats, survival capsules, hook release system and a complement of other safety equipment.

Our company has been manufacturing high quality FRP Lifeboats and Fast Rescue Boats for the last 6 years. We have supplied more than 2,000 boats to various multinational companies both in the marine and offshore industries. Vanguard boats conform in all respect to the latest IMO and SOLAS 86 regulations. All of our boats are Class certified and to date we have supplied customers with various class approvals like ABS, BVI, DNV, LRS just to name a few.

Manufacturing Facilities

Our manufacturing facility is a Class approved facility and it is capable of producing 200 boats a year. Our current manufacturing line is able to produce,

Our company stocks some of the common models of Rescue Boat, Totally Enclosed Lifeboat and Hooks Release System. Our production turnaround time is typically about 45 to 60days.

Global Support Services

Vanguard ensures easy access to critical spares and expert maintenance services for all major areas of our boats and davits, including the engine, gearbox, steering systems, compressed air and water systems, through our global after-sales service network. Recertification as per SOLAS requirements is available at most major ports. Training

Vanguard periodically conducts training for service agents and for our customers. Training is conducted on a biennial basis. Our service agents and customers are also regularly updated on the latest development on the safety and operation of Vanguard Lifeboats and that of the international maritime industry.

Research and Development

At Vanguard Composite Engineering we are continuously looking at way we can improve the safety, quality, materials and the environment. In this respect we have undertaken several areas of research. Our current research is focused mainly in Release Hook Designs, Non Solvent Base Coatings and Light Weight High Strength composite materials.
